In an effort to do our part for the environment, the Montrose West Hollywood has put the following green practices into place to help reduce our footprint on the environment.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE WAYS WE LOVE TO GO GREEN AND SAVE:
CTC PROGRAM:
$5 daily credit for opting out of housekeeping service and helping Montrose West Hollywood reduce its ecological impact.
TOWEL REPLENISHMENT:
You tell us when you want your towels replaced. Montrose West Hollywood respects your choice to reuse your towels and reduce water and chemical use. We will only replace towels you place on the floor.
SHEET REPLACEMENT:
Guests staying multiple nights have the option of choosing if they want their bedsheets replaced.
REDUCE:
Whenever possible, Montrose buys products in bulk to reduce the number of deliveries, and the emissions and packaging waste that accompany them.
PUMP-TOP REPLENISHMENT:
We use them for lotion, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. This eliminates hundreds of pounds of plastic containers and packaging from individual bath products.
NEWSPAPERS:
We keep newspapers at the hotel’s front desk for guest use and only deliver newspapers to guests who request them.
REUSE & RECYCLE:
Recycling receptacles available in our guest rooms, public spaces, and our employee spaces.
GUEST RECEIPTS:
During check-out, we are happy to print out a copy of your stay receipt upon request. This helps reduce paper usage and provides you one less thing to keep in your bag.
LIGHT THE WAY:
We have converted the majority of our lighting on property to low energy high efficiency LED lighting.
LESS EMISSION:
We provide all employees with a free bus pass so that they may utilize public transportation and reduce traffic and pollutants.
BIKE A WAY:
Montrose West Hollywood provides employees with ample bike parking.
